Remember

The silence of Faith without Doubt standing near,
is cheerful from Sadness' kisses on my ear.

The inevitable was certainly choice.
The Shadow was cast out by Light.
The Spirit is Love;
the One is too bright.

The old is aflame, while ashes ascend
to rise, then to fall, they sink.
The smoke signals all
who watch to think...

Remember the sweetness and smiles,
the embraces?
Remember them now.
Remember...

The Divine's wardrobe changes.
She tailors your gowns.
Dressed in the best, and next rags, you are.
Humility watches,
so never-mind boast.

From stumbling to face in the ground,
Faith exalts with no sound.
The silence is abound.
Reflections to recount,
the steps one made and chose
till' when Love did expose.
This path I'm on,
the one I walked and rode.

Stop!

Remember the sweetness?
Remember?
Remember.

To truly appreciate the blessings one has,
they may be swallowed whole.
From clenching of arms...
From suckling of lips...
From Life herself,
Love may find exit.

I remember the sweetness,
the birds sing this song,
"Please glorious Love, please shine!
Oh magnificent Faith, Divine!
We sing you sweet praises, be mine."

The minutes are hours,
the hours are days,
the pictures of smells,
and moments of fray.
The intimate coalescent of arms and lips,
the two become one in memory.

Oh the joy of those moments,
their fleeting and gone.
The warmth on my skin in the glow
of Love's face.

Please shine, oh Love.
Please shine.

I remember.
